ASTM A523 Cable Circuit Piping

High-frequency electric resistance welded (ERW) conduit piping is produced in extra long lengths.

U. S. Steel Tubular Products ASTM A523 cable circuit piping is sourced, developed and produced by American workers. We are the largest, fully integrated energy tubular producer in North America . U. S. Steel has control over every step of the pipe manufacturing process, from melt to final product.

We manufacture our tubular products at several U.S.-based facilities that produce high-quality tubular products with low-residuals in a wide range of strength levels with superior toughness.

Steel grades can vary widely in chemical composition, from simple carbon manganese to complex multi-element micro-alloyed composition. U. S. Steel Tubular Products manufacturing facilities are exacting in the manipulation of our processes to ensure we produce the exact properties and attributes required by our customers.

A523 Comparative Specifications

ASTM Specification A523 covers electric-resistance weld (ERW) steel pipe used as conduit for the installation of high-pressure pipe-type electrical cables. This product is suitable for welding and for forming operations, including operations involving flaring, belling, and bending. Size range: NPS 4-12.
